Might we not be for you? An honest blog
We have no interests in attempting to sell people something that may not be right for them. Here’s some reasons we might not be, although naturally we hope our benefits outweigh that for most people:
🔒The focus of your workouts is long duration cardio or resistance machine focused - We have a little less of this kind of equipment than some other gyms as the cost of maintaining, consistent fixing etc would eat into funds we prefer to spend on class licences, paying freelance instructors etc. We have plenty of space, mats, weights etc to do your own thing if you to prefer to workout alone, but you may find yourself waiting for electrical equipment at peak times.
🔒You want to work out late at night or have 24 hour access We currently close at 10pm on weeknights and 8pm on weekends, with our latest class finishing times being 8pm.
🔒You’re looking for a Senior Citizen Discount Unlike the student discounts we offer, we didn’t feel there was a gap in the market for senior discounts. However our full membership is still affordable and may be just as cheap as some offers at bigger clubs, so we absolutely do not discourage senior citizens from still joining us.
🔒You have goals and want personal training Again, this was something that there was definitely no gap in the market for! While we do not offer goal focused programs, if you need advice on using the space then Danielle and Monika are both Level 3 Gym Trained and can give you lots of help and advice on navigating it in a PT-style and will happily schedule a meeting with you.
